KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Weekly Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate weekly reports for over 70 care homes, providing crucial financial insights. Present findings to senior management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators. Monthly Management Accounts: Take charge of preparing monthly management accounts for several care homes. Conduct necessary reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations. Handle prepayments and accruals effectively. Month-end Accounting: Perform month-end accounting activities, including the production of management accounts, reconciliations, and journal entries. Ensure all financial records are accurate and compliant with relevant regulations. Invoicing and Client Satisfaction: Raise and issue invoices for multiple clients promptly, adhering to established timelines and billing policies. Proactively address compliance requirements and effectively resolve client queries to ensure their satisfaction. Financial Software Proficiency: Utilize Xero, Sage 200, and Excel on a daily basis to manage financial tasks, such as invoicing, payment allocation, and updating information. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with various teams within the finance department, including credit control and management accounts. Collaborate effectively to resolve queries, complete tasks, and maintain a seamless workflow. Project Support: Actively contribute to various projects that arise, such as the transfer of over 50 care homes from Sage to Xero. Support the implementation of new software systems like Datarails. Assist with auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing documentation
